Recently we have been using a tool called Tipu in class. It has really helped with my understanding of the Maori language and taught me the basics of the Maori language. It has been really good to start this as I am planning on taking Maori in high school. For manaiakalani we had to use scratch to express what we have learnt so far with Tipu to teach other some Te Reo Maori.
I found it easy to think of questions for my game, but I found it challenging to change the piskel as I deleted the other one and it deleted all my work. This was really annoying because it made me not complete the task on time. It has definitely taught me a lesson about saving my work so it doesn't delete though. Next time I would also like to make my character move and listen to the teacher more as he did mention that if we didn't save our character it would delete.
