Reporting from Boffinham High...

One of the many programs that we use in class in a thing called SHARP. I personally think it has improved my reading a lot this year. It trains our brains to think accurately while reading. Recently we have began to get tasks after our sharp sessions as an extra task.

I really enjoyed creating the video with Georgia, even though it took us a few tries to get it right. We found it slightly hard to be creative with the questions as we didn't really have that much time to complete the task. Next time I would like to get costumes to make the characters more realistic, it would also be good to not spend as much time videoing and spend extra time on the script.

What do you think we could improve on our video?

Can YOU help me with my maths?

I have to admit, when we first got today's task I was very confused; I had no idea what I was going to do. After brainstorming a bit and thinking about different things like creating a art piece or a poster, I decided I would settle on making a scratch game.

I found it a little challenging at first to put the voiceover in. I really enjoyed creating the maths questions. I am still pretty proud of my game though. I would really like to know how you did with the questions in the comments!

How many did you get right?

Ko Hannah Grace Webb Toku Ingoa

We were learning about our pepehas today. It was a great opportunity to learn what my pepeha was, as I only had a slight idea of what it was. Surprisingly I only knew what my awa and moana was. We used a website called pepeha.nz to fill it out and tour builder to show where my places are. The website made it very easy to learn and make it but I found it slightly harder to make the tour. In the future I would really like to learn more about my history and my pepeha.

What is your pepeha?
