Carrying your Computer

Yesterday we made videos to teach primary school kids how to carry their computers. We were learning about how to use wevideo. I found it easy to edit and put the video together but hard to write the script and act it out. I also really enjoyed working with Sarah.

My Lockdown !

We were learning about how to create and edit a video on wevideo. I found it easy to edit my video and put it together. I found it hard to make sure that I said all the right things and get the right timing when I videoed myself. I really enjoyed acting in the videos, especially the kayaking one. Next time I need to make it a bit more funny and less serious.

ANZAC

Over the past few weeks we have been learning about ANZAC day. I found it easy to collect enough infomation for the slides. I found it hard to work with my partner as we couldn't communicate. I really enjoyed learning about my connections to ANZAC day. Next time I need to find a way to communicate with my partner.

Today I decided to do some Horticuture. I went out to our gardens at home and planted some spinach and fennel. I also picked some of the veges that we already have there. While I was doing this I found a few dried up sunflowers, so I decided to take all of the seeds out of them. I got alot of seeds. I am hoping to plant them in spring.

Escape To Freedom

This week we had a task to create animations, I decided to do mine on my Great Grandfather. I found it easy to make add animations to the animation. I found it hard to find the right images that I needed. I really enjoyed being able to go back and read my Great Grandfathers full story, because I find war so interesting. Next time I need to find better images and not rush myself so much.

About Me 2020

Last week we learnt about making profiles for our blog. We had to make them informative, good looking and of good quality. I found it easy to make and didn't find anything challenging. I enjoyed designing mine and making it look good. I also had to make sure that I didn't put things in like my full name and my address.

This week is Gisint's open night for all the year 6's. We had to make a poster about our year at Gisint. Here is my poster.
