I am Malala - Reading Wheel

This week in room 1, we made reading wheels. We learnt about degrees. We had to choose a book, that we had read, to review. We had to separate our circle into 6 sectors. (Each sector 60°.) Then in sector 1 we had to draw our favourite character, sector 2 write about a character, 3 draw the setting, 4 write the plot, 5 draw our favourite part and in sector 6 write about our favourite part. To measure the sectors we learnt how to use a protractor. We also learnt about the radius, diameter and angles. Here is my work.
1. Cover of my reading wheel
2. Review of my book
3. My learning

  1. What a lot of thinking, learning and creativity for a reading wheel!! Fantastic! I really liked the way you worked on this task Hannah - you asked the right questions and shared some important learning with the class.
